Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Gig Collective ("we", "us") is a booking-management tool for musicians, built and operated by Nick Rains. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Gig Collective (the "Service") you agree to this policy.

Information you provide

Google account data

If you connect your Google account, we request only the access needed to provide the Service's features, and only with your explicit consent:

Google API Services Limited Use disclosure. Gig Collective's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.

How we use your information

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under their respective terms:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

Human access to Google user data

We do not allow humans to read your Gmail or Calendar data except: (a) with your affirmative consent for specific messages; (b) where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse; (c) to comply with applicable law; or (d) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual records in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data — including disconnecting Google access and removing stored Google tokens — by emailing us. You may also revoke Gig Collective's access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and secrets kept server-side) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
