Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Gig Collective ("we", "us") is a booking-management tool for musicians, built and operated by Nick Rains.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using
Gig Collective (the "Service") you agree to this policy.
Information you provide
- Account & profile: your name, email address, and the artist-profile details you enter (genre, bio, links, markets, etc.).
- Booking data: the venues, contacts, pipeline entries, notes, and activity you create in the app.
Google account data
If you connect your Google account, we request only the access needed to provide the Service's
features, and only with your explicit consent:
- Send email (gmail.send) — to send the booking emails you compose, from your own Gmail address.
- Read email (gmail.readonly) — to detect replies from the booking contacts in your pipeline and update the corresponding entry's status and activity.
- Calendar (calendar.events) — to read your availability for conflict-checking and to add confirmed gigs to your calendar.
Google API Services Limited Use disclosure. Gig Collective's use and transfer to
any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell
it, and do not use it to train generalized or non-personalized AI/ML models.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service — store your booking data, send and track the emails you compose, and sync your calendar.
- To generate and improve outreach drafts and reply summaries on your behalf. Email content and your booking data may be processed by Google's Gemini API solely to produce these user-facing features; it is not used to train models and is handled in accordance with the Limited Use requirements above.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
How we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the
Service, under their respective terms:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Railway — application hosting.
- Google — Gmail and Calendar APIs (your connected account) and the Gemini API (AI processing).
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security
of our users and the Service.
Human access to Google user data
We do not allow humans to read your Gmail or Calendar data except: (a) with your affirmative
consent for specific messages; (b) where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse;
(c) to comply with applicable law; or (d) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual records in the app, and
you can request deletion of your account and associated data — including disconnecting Google access
and removing stored Google tokens — by emailing us. You may also revoke Gig Collective's access at any
time from your Google Account permissions.
Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and secrets kept
server-side) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
